MISSION STATEMENT
The Central Arizona Animal Rescue (CAAR) is a nonprofit organization
dedicated to the general welfare, sheltering and placement of animals;
prevention of cruelty to animals and overpopulation; education concerning
humane treatment of animals; and involvement in other animal welfare
issues.

Katrina, one of our rescues we
placed last year took second
place in the narcotics detection
category at the 2010 Arizona Law
Enforcement K9 Trails. You
wouldn't know it but Katrina is
almost blind from cataracts and
has most likely been that way
since birth! But she is has one
hell of a nose and an excellent
detection dog with the trophy to
prove it!

We got this message about Luke, one of the rescues we placed
that was here along time and we were wondering if he was ever
gong to find a permanent home!
don’t know if I ever told you all this but Before Brian I was don’
t know if I ever told you all this but Before Brian I was married
and had a little girl who was hit in the head at olive Garden
with a tray and now has a brain Injury. Before Luke she was
on all kinds of meds and we could not take her anywhere their
were a lot of people because she Seizures. Since we have had
Luke he has taken her under his wing she is no longer on
meds and they do not leave each others side Luke has been a
blessing the little girl in the pic on my page is a changed little
girl because of Luke!!!!! I don’t know how to thank you and
your wife for what you guys did for know how to thank you and
your wife for what you guys did for our fam but if you all did
not give Luke a 2nd chance he would have never made it to us
so thanks guys "have never made it to us so thanks guys "
